I bought my first Holga in 1996 after seeing some super cool photos by Sylvia Plachy that were identified as being taken with a Holga. Never heard of such a thing until that time. I dabbled with Holgas and a few other toy cameras off and on until 2007 when I got serious about my toys. I tend to shoot with Brownie Hawkeyes and Dianas more than I shoot with Holgas, but every so often I get inspired to go on a Holga jag. It’s always fun.
My favorite Holga, out of about five that I own: a Holgamods Waist-Level Viewfinder model 120N. That’s what I used for the low-angle “Opening Day” photo.
